John Welch is Associate Director of Business Development at Butterworth Laboratories, bringing more than 45 years of experience across analytical chemistry, quality assurance and commercial leadership. Since joining Butterworth in 1987, he has held a range of senior scientific and operational roles, helping to drive the company’s growth while overseeing business development, facilities, laboratory support and accounts.
His extensive technical background includes analytical chemistry and quality systems operating to GMP, GLP and UKAS standards. John holds a GRSC qualification in Chemistry from the University of Hertfordshire. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a Member of the RQA.
