Molecular Spectroscopy

We currently have the following molecular spectrometric techniques available:

• FTIR Fourier Transform Infra Red Spectroscopy
  Identification and structural analysis of organic compounds.

• UV/VIS Ultra-Violet/Visible Spectroscopy
  Identification and quantitative determination of elements and compounds, mainly as trace and minor constituents.

• Fluorimetry
  Following radiation in the ultraviolet region of the spectrum, some complex organic molecules fluoresce. Fluorimetry, the measurement of this radiation, provides a very sensitive and selective means of quantitative analysis.
