BUTTERWORTH was established in 1974 and undertakes Contract Analytical
Chemistry, largely for the major Chemical and Pharmaceutical Companies
as well as the Universities and Research Organisations.
There are around 300 live Clients and the work is to the highest
Quality standards. The Company has the highest of reputations, is
UKAS Accredited and both GLP and GMP Compliant. It is regularly
inspected by MHRA and audited by FDA whenever this becomes necessary.
There is a total complement of approximately 40 staff with most
of the scientific staff of graduate level or above.
All staff are encouraged to feel they are an essential part of
the Company and that their ideas and suggestions are valued. All
are therefore dependant on each other and work together as a team.

reliability and conscientiousness together with motivation and a
