Quality Policy
The Butterworth Quality System has been developed over 30 years to meet today's stringent requirements for Quality Assurance in analytical chemistry.
A single system of quality encompasses the requirements of:
- ISO 17025 (2000) Accreditation (UKAS)
- GMP regulations (as they apply to QC laboratories)
- GLP compliance
Our goal is to deliver an error-free product every time. Our QA department inspect and audit our facilities, systems and procedures routinely to ensure that Butterworth operates in compliance with current regulations.
The laboratory is also continually audited and inspected by both clients and regulatory bodies to ensure on-going compliance. These audits also provide opportunities for the sharing of ideas and solutions to any issues which may arise.
The quality environment throughout the laboratories is such that all members of staff take an active role in not only the quality of their own work but in all areas of the laboratory. This pro-active approach helps to identify areas for preventive action, and encourages all staff be actively involved in the continual improvement of the Quality System.
We aim to
- Provide a service built on a well established Quality System meeting the requirements of both our clients and current regulations/standards.
- Comply with UK and International Quality Standards with a programme of continual improvement.
- Provide an open audit environment enabling a clear view of how quality requirements are implemented and where changes may be adopted.
