Chemical Testing and Analysis

As with the pharmaceutical industry, Butterworth Laboratories is capable of providing the chemicals sector with an exceptional analytical support service, as we have an established history of working with companies in the petrochemical, polymer and plastics industries. Furthermore, the majority of our analytical staff have worked as analytical chemists across various industries prior to joining our staff team, creating a pool of expertise to solve the most complex of testing requirements.

Over the years the analytical chemists at Butterworth have handled a very diverse range of materials from plastics for cars and electrical equipment, through polymers for fast food containers to soaps and detergents. Where possible these have been analysed to the relevant published methods, such as BS, EN, ISO, DIN, ASTM, IP and AOAC.

Butterworth also undertakes work to aid companies with problem solving, and the validation of, manufacturing processes in addition to routine QC testing of raw materials and finished products.
