BUTTERWORTH was established in 1974 and undertakes Contract Analytical Chemistry, largely in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Medical Device sectors of Industry. The company’s Quality System reflects this emphasis being compliant with both GMP and GLP Regulations. In addition the company is ISO17025 Accredited by UKAS.

There is a total complement of approximately 40 staff with most of the scientific staff of graduate level or above. All members of staff are encouraged to feel they are an essential part of the Company and that their ideas and suggestions are valued. All are therefore dependant on each other and work together as a team.

In addition all our staff are expected to show integrity, enthusiasm, reliability and conscientiousness together with motivation and a desire to help progress the Company where all profits are ploughed back into the Company.
