Butterworth continue to grow.

Following our announcement, in April this year, of the appointment of new members of staff, a further three analysts have been appointed in May.  This means that since January 2011 the total staff compliment has increased by 12.5% from 40 to 45.  During this period we were sorry to lose Robert Clegg, who specialised in ICP-MS and ICP-OES analysis, who returned to Australia.

Once their initial induction is over, it is intended that Alex Goubatchev will be joining David Bell’s Project Group working on Method Development, Validation and Stability Studies,  Andrea Marunović will be working in the Chromatography Laboratory and Tom Paynter will be joining the Classical Wet Chemistry section.

The expansion has been driven not only by the expansion in demand for work since the beginning of this financial year, but also with a view to providing additional capacity for the expansion we foresee in the forthcoming months..
